تعرضت "تايلور سويفت"، لانتقادات حادة بعد ظهورها في حفل "جولدن جلوب"، وذلك على خلفية ظهور اسمها ضمن وثائق رسمية من المحكمة الفيدرالية في نيويورك، ضمت أسماء أشخاص ربما تورطوا مع الملياردير الراحل جيفرى إبستين، في جرائم جنسية.
تضمنت الوثائق أسماء أكثر من 170 شخصًا، من بينهم سياسيون ربطتهم علاقات بأبستين، الذي توفى في السجن بنيويورك في أغسطس 2019 قبل محاكمته بتُهمة استغلال قاصرات جنسيًا، حيث أقدم على الانتحار نتيجة "إهمال" من العاملين في السجن، بحسب ما خلصت إليه وزارة العدل الأمريكية منتصف 2023.
